Payment Process

We agree on a contract spelling out all terms, after which payment is made in four increments:
- 25% deposit to begin work
- 25% upon your approval of tight sketches
- 25% upon your approval of color proof
- 25% upon delivery of publish-ready PDF

Payments are made securely online via credit card, Paypal, Venmo, Zelle or may be mailed as a traditional check.

My simple 1-2-3 process:

1. CHARACTERS YOU WILL LOVE!
After our initial video chats and/or emails to get all of your thoughts and creative input, I present you with top quality character designs for your comments and feedback. Whether they’re new original characters, a re-brand of your existing IP, caricatures of family members, etc… We start by collaborating on this first step and ensuring you are happy as we bring your characters to life!

2. I DESIGN YOUR BOOK AND SEND YOU A MOCKUP
I apply kid-approved visual storytelling techniques to build a lively & appealing flow of images and structure from your manuscript. I deliver the storyboarded pdf document for your approval, with dynamic page layouts and your text already in place. There is no cap on the number of revisions you may request in order to ensure your complete satisfaction with the staging of the action, text and flow of your story!

3. BEAUTIFUL, PROFESSIONAL ARTWORK
Once approved, I provide eyeball-grabbing, finished color pages for your review and approval, formatted for your preferred publishing option.
